If you haven't done so already, I'd also encourage you to take a moment to read over
this page, which attempts to answer some basic questions you might have.

If you're part of a team planning on coming to your first Kick around the Clock:

Thank you for giving us a chance. We are trying to create a tournament that's something different:
A fun excuse to play soccer- sometimes even at crazy hours - during a time of year when most people aren't even thinking
about soccer. So, thanks for thinking about soccer in the middle of winter. We're glad to have you on board!

If you're part of a team that's returning to Kick around the Clock:

Thanks so much for your continued support! We're excited to have you along for the ride.
The best compliment for us as tournament host: teams like yours that keep coming back, and -better yet -players, coaches
and parents who spread the word-of-mouth to other members of the soccer community, growing the excitement for the game.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you at Kick around the Clock!

OUR GOAL is to provide a memorable, one-of-a-kind tournament experience for everyone involved. With your support, we strive to make Kick around the Clock one of the best indoor-soccert tournaments not just in Iowa, but also in the midwest. We want to grow this into a fun, 3v3 event that you'll want to keep coming back to, and maybe even spread the word. This way, more and more people will know about this opportunity to play soccer for an affordable cost, in a friendly and safe environment.

FEEDBACK: How was your tournament experience? We are here to listen to your feedback (good, bad and in between), so that we can improve the tournament for all involved. After each tournament, I email our team contacts a quick and anonymous survey, asking how we did and how we can make things better. Of course, I also welcome your calls and emails, any time. Thank you for sharing your time and your perspectives. We want to hear from you!

ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT: In October 2009, we started Kick around the Clock with a simple idea: What if we could create a winter-soccer tournament that is truly unique to the state of Iowa? We thought, what if we could provide an opportunity for soccer players to get tournament experience in the middle of winter, when soccer opportunities are limited in central Iowa?

The tournament has grown and evolved in ways we could not have imagined when this was just an idea. It started as a 6v6 event at Soccer House in West Des Moines, with a modest turnout of 11 teams in 2010. The team count doubled to 22 in its second year, and grew to 25 teams and then 27 teams (in 2013).  After four great years at Soccer House, we decided to go in a new direction: a 3v3 tournament at "The U" in Grimes, which allows us to host three games at once. The response has been greater than imagined, with more than 50 teams coming to the 3v3 event each year, with a record 79 teams joining the fun in 2015.
